- Hybrid Raman-EDFA - a tightly integrated module comprising a Raman pre-amplifier and a variable gain EDFA, with a unified full featured AGC mechanism, extremely low noise figure and excellent gain flatness. This amplifier is ideal for long-haul and ultra-long haul high capacity networks, allowing existing system designs to seamlessly address links of 3000 km and beyond without O-E-O regeneration.
- UltraSpan product family - designed to address the challenges of ultra long repeaterless links and long spans within multi-span links. It comprises a number of complementary products (UltraSpan co-and counter-propagating Raman, UltraSpan Power Booster, UltraSpan ROPA, UltraSpan High Power Amplification Terminal, and UltraSpan Submarine Terminal), which can be used individually or in any combination to extend the span reach of existing system designs.
- WDM EDFA product line – a comprehensive line of variable gain and fixed gain WDM EDFAs, which offer a unique combination of state-of-the-art optical performance, highly optimized and cost-effective design and utmost reliability.
- Single channel pre-amplifier for 100 Gb/s and 40 Gb/s Networks – provides excellent noise performance and stable output power with fast power transient control.
RED-C products are available as modules, line cards or network interfaced rack units and are widely deployed by leading tier one and emerging system vendors worldwide. RED-C products are certified with relevant qualifications including: NEBS, TUV, CE and Telecordia, and include RED-C’s unique patented laser safety technology for Class 1M classifications. RED-C UltraSpan product line features standard GUI and operating procedures, allowing rapid and simple integration within existing system designs.
