Yossi Boker
President & CEO
 

Yossi Boker initiated the spin-off of RED-C's activities from Elop Electro-Optics Industries Ltd. (Elop) and has been the Chief Executive Officer ever since. Before founding RED-C, Yossi served as a Director of Business Development at Elop, where he was responsible for commercializing military technologies. Yossi served as senior executive at Hapoalim Investments Ltd., in charge of the industrial and high-tech portfolio of companies. He served as board member of several public and private companies including Teledata-Communications Ltd., AG Associates Ltd., Orlite Industries Ltd. and Hazera (1939) Ltd. Yossi was active Chairman of the Board of Directors at Youth Encyclopedias Ltd., a publishing house. 
He served as a senior legal district attorney in the IDF, ranked Lt. Colonel. Yossi holds a law degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the Recanati School of Business Administration, Tel-Aviv University. He is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.

 

Uri Ghera, Ph.D.
CTO & Co-Founder
 

Uri Ghera is a recognized authority in the field of optical fibers and communications. Prior to co-founding RED-C, Uri headed the optical fiber activities for communications and military applications at Elop. He managed Elop's activities within the Israeli National Consortium for Optical Broadband and Communications (MAGNET). Uri holds a Ph.D. from Tel-Aviv University and maintains close contacts with industry-leading researchers at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and Tel-Aviv University.

 

Dr. David Menashe
VP, Chief Scientist 

David Menashe has over ten years experience in industrial research and development, the majority of which were in the field of optical communications. Most recently David held senior R&D positions in GWS Photonics, developing liquid crystal-based tunable optical components, and at LaserComm, developing dispersion management solutions for optical networks. David holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has co-authored numerous scientific papers and patents in the fields of physics and optical communications.

 

Nir Refaeli
VP, Operations

Nir Refaeli has over 17 years experience in the telecommunication industry. Prior to joining RED-C, Nir served as Head of Operations in Nokia Siemens Networks in the carrier switches business line. Prior to NSN, he worked for Ceragon Networks (NASDAQ: CRNT) for 6 years in several managerial positions in the operations, with last position as VP Engineering. Prior to Ceragon, he served in the IDF for 10 years, in an elite intelligence R&D unit, ranked Major. Nir holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA (cum laude) from the Recanati School of Business Administration, Tel Aviv University.

 

Tzachi Goldenberg
VP, Sales & Marketing, EMEA

Tzachi Goldenberg joined RED-C to pursue sales and marketing activities in EMEA territories. Prior to joining RED-C, Tzachi served as a Sales Manager for West Europe at Scopus Video Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ:SCOP). Prior to that Tzachi worked for ECI-Telecom Ltd. (NASDAQ: ECIL) as a Product Manager in the Engineering department of the Next Generation Telephony Solutions and DCME division. Previously to that Tzachi worked as a Technical Supervisor in the TV and Broadcast department at JCS - Jerusalem Capital Studios. Tzachi was qualified as an Electronics Engineer in the IDF and served in the Intelligence R&D unit.

 

Ilan Brillant
VP, Sales, Americas

Ilan Brillant joined RED-C to assume sales and marketing activities in the Americas. Prior to joining RED-C Ilan served as Director of Business Development at Gilat Satellite Networks (NASDAQ: GILt) where he managed, among other things, the relationship with Cisco Systems. Prior to Gilat he served as Director for Marketing & Business Development at XLight Photonics. Before that Ilan served as Marketing & Sales Manager at RADCOM (NASDAQ; RDCM) and prior to that he was Marketing & Sales Manager at LANNET (Now Avaya). Ilan holds an MBA from Kellogg Business School & Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology.
